While the Trout Lake and Kitsilano Farmers Markets are tightly packed with shoppers, the Kerrisdale Village Market moves at a slower pace, allowing buyers to properly interact with the farmers and vendors.  The market is held each Saturday from Saturdays, June 15 – October 12, 2013 from 10am – 2pm each week at East Boulevard between 37th and 41st Avenue – near Kerrisdale Arena.

If a farmer is new to the market they end up at the Kerrisdale Market first to test out whether the concept works for them, so this is a place to discover some new vendors as well as supporting and buying locally.

Don’t miss Koko Monk’s decadent and unusual chocolates, Pate Pastiche pate, Earth Girl’s scrubbing salts as well as Blue Comet Seafood and Rockwell Farms Chicken.  Then grab a bunch of fresh fruit and vegetables and build a meal all sourced from the market.
