Slow Food Vancouver teams up with local Chef and Holistic Cooking Instructor, Andrea Potter of Rooted Nutrition for this unique 3 course dinner and cooking class featuring food and wines from the Similkameen Valley and the Gulf Islands!

This evening includes: 
  • A 3 course meal of local and organic food and wines
  • ‘How-to’ live cooking demonstration of your meal
  • Recipes so that you can re-create the feast!
  • Nutrition tips and information
  • Focusing on our connection to our food through cooking
  • Connecting with farmers and learning about their practices

Location: Tapestry at Wesbrook Village UBC, 3338 Wesbrook Mall, Vancouver

Farmers and suppliers involved in the event will be present, so you’ll be able to ask them any questions, support them, and listen to their story

Half of the proceeds will go to Slow Food Vancouver Terra Madre Funds. Terra Madre Funds enables BC farmers and producers to travel to Slow Food International’s meeting in Torino, Italy. Its an inspiring meeting where deleates from all over the world exchange ideas about food production, security, and sustainability.
