Raising funds to send local farmers to Terra Madre in October 2010. Slow Food Vancouver’s Adopt-A-Farmer campaign will receive net proceeds from the event. The event is an open house fundraiser. Learn about the slow food campaigns around food security, climate change, raw milk cheese, seeds, and our wild salmon. Buy Red Fife wheat. Hear from groups and academics involved in food security issues providing education, awarenesss and insights. Help support our local farmers in making farming a viable career choice and our continuing education and awareness as we enter 2010 – the International Year of Biodiversity.
