What To Do In Vancouver This Week

First of all, hello November and how the hell did you get here this quickly? It seems like this fall is just whipping by and even with the extra hour this weekend. This week we’re excited to try some new fall menu items around town starting with Glowbal tonight and Bel Cafe in Kitsilano tomorrow. Eat! Vancouver is in full swing and there are still tickets left to some of the chefs dinners this week and the Harvest Festival Friday. We’ll be at the sold-out dinner at Chicha on Wednesday with Chef Shelome Bouvette and Charlotte Langley. Follow us on Instagram and watch the stories for all the action. Here’s a few other events we’d suggest this week around town.

Cafe Medina and Domaine Chandon Monday November 5

If you love bubble this one’s for you! Café Medina will help winemaker Domaine Chandon celebrate its 45th anniversary by breaking out the bubbles as the downtown brunch destination welcomes the Napa Valley vintner for an exclusive ‘Sparkling Supper’ dinner on Monday, November 5.

The event, which marks Medina’s new exclusive partnership with the Golden State winery, begins with a stand-up reception at 6:30 p.m. showcasing Medina Bar Manager Marc Slingsby-Jones‘ original Last Flight cocktail featuring gin, green Chartreuse, lavender syrup and Chandon California Brut. Guests will then enjoy a three-course seated meal prepared by Executive Chef Chris West and paired with a variety of Chandon’s sparkling wines.
