On Saturday, July 25 2009, North Vancouver’s Moustache Café will be providing culinary matches for California Zinfandel at Park Royal’s BCLDB Signature Store. This tasting event is hosted by California’s Zinfandel Advocates & Producers (ZAP).
Four wineries and their representatives will be on hand, giving zinfandel samples to consumers. The wines will be paired with appetizers prepared by the Chef Geoff Lundholm of Lower Lonsdale’s Moustache Café. Chef Lundholm has prepared a menu that will show the wines to their best advantage: Moroccan Spiced Lamb Sirloin Skewer as well as Olive and Eggplant Ratatouille on Tuscan Crostini.
Wine writer Anthony Gismondi and food and travel aficionado Kasey Wilson will broadcast their “Buzz on Food & Wine” radio show live from the tasting.
