With our 4th Annual Women’s ‘Summer Solstice Soiree’ fast approaching, we are thrilled to invite you to once again come and celebrate with us! This is a great night for you to gather up your closest gal pals and come along to celebrate our theme for the evening – the giving spirit in all of us! Taking time to give to others, family, friends, the broader community and our own spirits is part of who we are – and it’s that giving spirit that we have chosen to celebrate this year!
On Thursday 16 June, 7.30pm to 11pm, come and join us for some cool tunes courtesy of our fabulous DJ, great food – provided by ‘Section 3’ – our signature ‘Red Hibiscus’ martinis great artwork from ‘Art for People’, a silent auction and a few other surprises! Tickets are $50 each and strictly limited. Last year we sold out, so make sure you don’t miss out!
Talented women that we are, multitasking is in our blood – so celebrating while supporting a great cause is a no brainer! In addition to our fabulous celebrations we are also supporting a locally run charity The Ascenta Foundation and proceeds from night will go to directly to the foundation.

With an established infrastructure system and minimal overhead this charity has low administration fees, which ensures donations go directly to where they are needed most – the people and their communities! As the world continues to get smaller, this is a great way for us to ‘act local but impact global’!
Not only are proceeds from the ticket sales going to The Ascenta Foundation but to support our giving ways theme, we are providing you with two other ways to contribute to others:
The Giving Basket: While money is always of great assistance – and any donation would be gratefully received – we are asking each guest to please contribute one, or more, of the following items to our ‘giving basket’. These items will be taken on The Ascenta Foundation’s next mission:
- Items for infant/toddler care: toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby gum/mouth cleaner, cotton balls, antibacterial cream, baby nail clippers, shampoo/head to toe & suction bulbs (for clearing nasal passages)
- Items for general care: thermometers, face cloths, band aids (all sizes) hand/body soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Vaseline and used prescription glasses
Inspirational Art: We are proud to welcome the wonderfully talented ‘Art for People’ who will be showcasing fabulous artworks for sale. Proceeds from any of the art pieces you purchase at the Summer Solstice Soiree will be generously donated to The Ascenta Foundation. http://artforpeople.ca/cms/
