Morning Bay Vineyards has released our newest red wines, 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2006 Merlot and 2007 Pinot Noir, all with BC VQA designation.
“This is the first time our entire portfolio has been VQA approved,” said co-owner and winemaker Keith Watt. “It’s gratifying after six years of releases to attain the approval of your peers.” VQA status is achieved by submitting wines to a professional tasting panel looking for fault-free wines.
Three years of barrel aging has rendered rich, layered red wines, with sumptuous oak flavours commingling with the ripe berry flavours the Okanagan Valley is known for.
The wines are now carried in BC VQA stores, including the following:
Vancouver: Village Wines Kitsilano, Taylorwood Wines in Yaletown, and Village Wines Dunbar at 41st;
North Vancouver: Edgemont Village Wines;
West Vancouver: Bellevue Wine Company;
Victoria: The Wine Barrell on Broughton, BC Wine Guys on Cadboro Bay, and Mattick’s Farm;
Richmond: Sip Wines on Steveston Hwy.;
Surrey: Mud Bay Wines on 16 Ave and Mud Bay Wines Tsawwassen on 56 St.;
Chilliwack: Sardis Park Wines (***opening April 9***) and

“These stores are staffed by the biggest BC wine enthusiasts anywhere!” says Watt. “Please stop by, and tell them Morning Bay sent you,”
