Splash is Vancouver’s most established charitable art events featuring a stunning collection of works by some of Canada’s most prominent artists. The event is truly an experience, a feast for the senses, including a cocktail reception, a fine wine and food experience, performances by Arts Umbrella students, a hot DJ revving the party up and of course, 100 engaging contemporary artworks. More than 500 guests attend for the chance to bid on coveted artworks, raising much-needed funds for Arts Umbrella.
Established artists whose creative works will be auctioned off at the Splash Gala will include Gordon Smith, Ross Penhall and Bobbie Burgers. Be sure to check out one of the newest participating artists, Bratsa Bonifacho! On September 24th and 25th you can even view artist Athena Bax creating something for Arts Umbrella live, at Holt Renfrew!

If you would like to view the Splash 2011 Collection in advance you can visit the Splash Art Preview Exhibition, September 26 to October 7, 2011 at the Pendulum Gallery, HSBC Building, 885 West Georgia Street, Vancouver. If people cannot attend the Splash Gala they will still be able to bid on the spectacular collection of art. Absentee bid forms will be available at the Splash Art Preview Exhibition, and by contacting Arts Umbrella in advance of the event.
