The 2nd ANNUAL BEST OF THE WEST BRINGS WINE AND CULINARY TASTING TO WEST VANCOUVER’S WATERFRONT
The Harmony Arts Festival, presented by Odlum Brown Limited, is offering exciting culinary and wine experiences throughout the Festival in West Vancouver beginning August 3. After selling out its inaugural year, BEST of the WEST presented by Park Royal is back by popular demand and takes place on August 8. Back for its second year is the Grosvenor Waterfront Lounge, hosted by house wine and FreshTAP, open daily until 10:30 pm during the entire Festival.

Don’t miss BEST of the WEST, sponsored by Park Royal and hosted by house wine, where West Vancouver will be enjoying BC’s best in wine and culinary delights. Guests will be introduced to food and wine from 13 participating restaurants and wineries and enjoy a sampling of wines at the BC VQA Regional Wine Bar from the wines of British Columbia. Set at the foot of 14th Street on the Pier, this ticketed event will be an unparalleled waterfront experience. The event takes place from 7-9 pm. Purchase your tickets by calling 604-925-7270. Grosvenor Waterfront Lounge (August 3 – 12, 2012)
The Harmony Arts Festival Waterfront Lounge located at the foot of 15th Street in Millennium Park provides a unique waterfront experience. This year, the Waterfront Lounge is sponsored by Grosvenor with food served by local Italian restaurant Mangia E Bevi and an innovative new approach to beverage service with house wine and FreshTAP. The Grosvenor Waterfront Lounge is open all 10 days of the Festival until 10:30 pm, with music from the RE/MAX Garden Concerts on the Pacific Arbour Garden Stage, including 8:45 pm weekend concerts with Jim Byrnes (Aug. 4), Mazacote (Aug. 5), Ali Milner (Aug. 6), John Mann (Aug. 7), The Dynamics (Aug. 8), Maria in the Shower (Aug. 9), Soulstream (Aug. 10), Redgy Blackout (Aug. 11), and Adam Woodall Band (Aug. 12). house wine is a wine consulting company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was conceived through a great friendship and a genuine love of wine. Collectively, co-owners Michelle Bouffard and Michaela Morris have dedicated over 25 years to their vinous pursuits. Inseparable since their first sip, they have led tastings for 6 to 350 people and juggled countless bottles of wine. Michelle and Michaela write for Eat Magazine, contribute articles to Wine Access and Review Magazine and make regular radio and television appearances.
