For the second year in a row The Harmony Arts Festival presented Best of the West. The event was hosted again by Michaela Morris and Michelle Boufard of house wine, who did a spectacular job of pairing up West Vancouver’s best restaurants with stellar BC Wines. Held at the Ambleside Pier at the foot of 14th Street, the setting couldn’t be more perfect. The weather was more than cooperate and guests strolled the dock with ocean views, live music and simply delightful food and wine.
This festival was timed perfecly as my aunt was in town and as she lives smack in the heart of Hawkes Bay, a prime New Zealand wine growing region, I was keen to show her what British Columbia had to offer. She left impressed and packed a few bottles to take back and share with friends.
