After a successful inaugural challenge last year, here is our 2nd Poutine Challenge featuring 21 restaurants and expanded areas to now include Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Ladner and White Rock that runs from Feb 5-28th.
Participating restaurants are either showcasing Poutine’s that were specially created just for this challenge or poutines already on their menu and all will be offered in all of these restaurants from February 5 – February 28th. The public is invited to visit any of the participating restaurants and order the poutine dishes and then decide on which ones they think are worthy of winning the challenge.
These are just some of the unique Poutine’s in this challenge: 131 Water Kitchen & Bar has created a Crispy Chicken & Waffle Poutine, Riverway Clubhouse has created a Spätzle Poutine, Falconetti’s has created a Sweet Smokehouse Poutine, Electric Owl Social Club has created a Poutine Tron Limited Edition……..

Voting: The public is invited to try these poutines at the participating restaurants keeping in mind this criteria – originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste. They are then encouraged to VOTE for their favourite Poutine’s between February 26-March 2nd at http://vancouverfoodster.com/poutine-challenge/
We will announce the winning restaurants and their poutine dishes on March 3, 2013.
