Sweet Temptations is going to be a night of delectable treats and musical beats. Join in the fun on March 1 from 7:00-9:30pm at CocoaNymph East, where guests can listen to live music, sip on a bevy, nibble on treats, and raise a paddle to support the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, a not-for-profit organization that provides free after-school music education to almost 300 underserved and at risk children in Vancouver each year.
“The Sarah McLachlan School of Music is a cause that is close to my heart,” says Rachel Sawatzky, owner and chief chocolatiere of CocoaNymph. “I grew up in an instrumental family and believe that every child deserves the chance to feel the power of music.”
Sweet Temptations is the perfect opportunity to pair music and chocolate together in one amazing evening! Listen to live musical entertainment Reid Jamieson and Johnny Gallant and bid on incredible auction packages like a Weekend in Whistler, a private seven course dining experience for 6-8 people by Farm to Fork, a house concert with Christa Couture paired with chocolate and beer, a house concert with Johnny Gallant paired with chocolate and wine, and a house concert with Reid Jamieson paired with chocolate and beer. Tickets are $35 and include wine by Okanagan Crush Pad, beer by Stanley Park Brewery, and canapés and chocolate by CocoaNymph.
“We are so excited to have Sweet Temptations at our new location,” says Rachel, who is mixing up a special Sarah McLachlan School of Music truffle collection that will be unveiled later in 2013. “This partnership is an incredible opportunity for us to give back to a charity that cares about the importance of music in the lives of children.”
