On April 12th, we’re holding  the 2nd Casks for Community, our monthly fundraiser dedicated to showcasing our favourite brewers, vendors and local producers, while raising money for non-profit organizations within our community. This month we’re teaming up with Growing Chefs! Chefs for Children’s Urban Agriculture, a non-profit organization in Vancouver that runs a Classroom Gardening Program in elementary schools to get kids excited about growing, cooking, and eating good, healthy food. The first cask will be tapped at 6:00pm and we’ll go until late, with entertainment and a second cask tapped at 8:30pm. $1 from each beer sold will go directly to Growing Chefs, as well as a portion of fresh sheet food sales for the evening. We’ll also have a silent auction with fun and boozey prizes, swag, and more!

We invite you to come down, drink some craft beer, nibble on chef’s creations and support a great cause.
