Riedel Glass Tasting at Cru

On Sunday, October 4 2009, guests at Cru Restaurant will be treated to a Riedel glass tasting, and a five-course dinner paired with premium wines from the Okanagan’s Mission Hill Family Estate. The $150 event will include a four-piece set of Riedel glassware for each guest to take home that retails for $148.

This event is a “perfect storm” of culinary quality: Cru earned the Best Small Plates award at the 2009 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards; Mission Hill Family Estate has been named Canada’s top winery three times; and Riedel sets the gold standard for wine glasses. The evening will be hosted by a Riedel representative, who will lead guests through a tasting of top wines in glassware that shows each varietal to its best advantage.
