  • Mixology ~ “A Fresh Approach” $26.04 (Minimum age 21 years; identification required.)
    With 15 years experience in the restaurant and bar industry, Chandra Lucariello serves as the Director of Mixology for Southern Wine & Spirits of Hawaiʻi in Honolulu, one of the state’s leading wine, spirits and beer distributors and an esteemed sponsor for Kāʻanapali Fresh. Chandra is the Education Director for the Hawaii chapter of the United States Bartender Guild and seeks to further usage of the myriad flavors and ingredients that can be found in the islands. She says, “A truly great cocktail can only start with great ingredients.”

  • Progressive Kāʻanapali ~ “A Double Culinary Grande with a Shot of Jake” $78.13 (Minimum age 21 years; identification required.)
    A progressive dining experience infused with coffee here and there at two premier Kāʻanapali Beach Resort properties. First stop is at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa for savory tastings created by their culinary team joined with The Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas’ team. The second stop at The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa showcases a display of sweets and a live performance under a Kāʻanapali moonlit sky by Jake Shimabukuro, Hawaiʻi’s award winning ukulele virtuoso. “Jake is taking the instrument to a place that I can’t see anybody else catching up with.” – Eddie Vedder, singer & songwriter, Pearl Jam. Getting to the Progressive Dinner is a less seven minute walk along the famed Kāʻanapali beach walk or accessible by complimentary event shuttle service.

    Maui farms produce fragrant coffee, native taro, fresh vegetables, colorful flowers, exotic fruits, sweet Maui Kula® onions, landscape greens, sugar cane, pineapples, seed crops, grass-fed beef, even seafood. Presented in partnership with the Maui County Farm Bureau, this is an official Grown on Maui Farmers Market featuring the bounty of Maui. Grown on Maui, fresh and local matter!

  • Kā’anapali Coffee Tour ~ “Celebrating 200 Years of Coffee in Hawai’i” $30.21
    Kāʻanapali Coffee is strong in 2013 as it celebrates 200 years of cultivation in the Islands. First planted on O‘ahu by Don Francisco de Paula Marin in 1813 and related to Hawai‘i’s beloved gardenias, coffee has been an important part of island culture ever since and is currently grown on all the major islands, with about 6,300 acres harvested statewide. About 40 farms produce Maui coffee. Kā’anapali Fresh, Kā’anapali Coffee Farms and CJ’s Deli partner to present a coffee tour of Kā’anapali estate coffee. Meet the growers; learn about Maui’s growing coffee industry and taste the quality, MauiGrown Coffee. You’ll learn about the art and science of coffee cultivation and how coffee goes from farm to cup with Kimo Falconer and Jeff Ferguson of MauiGrown Coffee, which processes and markets coffee grown on the estate. CJ’s Deli & Diner will provide lunch.

  • Signature Kā’anapali Fresh Food & Wine Festival ~ “Kāʻanapali 5-0” $156.25(Minimum age 21 years; identification required.)
    In celebration of Kāʻanapali Beach’s latest accolade as Trip Advisors “#1 Beach in the Nation” and the Resort’s 50th anniversary, Kāʻanapali Beach Resort hosts an open-air event to celebrate the many reasons why Kāʻanapali is the best. All of this takes place at a beautiful setting on the famed third hole of the Royal Kāʻanapali Golf Course. Kāʻanapali’s top locavore chefs come together with Maui farmers to present “farm to table” cuisine and wineries pair complementary wine selected by Southern Wine & Spirits. West Maui’s popular silent auction to benefit Maui agriculture returns as a benefit for the Maui County Farm Bureau, a grassroots 501(c)(5) organization of farms and ranch families, agricultural industries, and associated organizations dedicated to supporting agriculture on Maui. Rounding out the event are performances by award winning, internationally renowned Hawaiʻi artists Amy Hanaialiʻi Gilliom and Makana. Kāʻanapali’s magical setting, locavore chefs, celebrity farmers, knowledgeable winemakers, stellar artists, generous hosts and fun guests make this evening Maui’s not-to-be-missed event of the year!
