On a rainy day in August we headed out to Krause Berry Farm to check out a preview for the upcoming September 8, 2013 Metro Vancouver Feast of Fields. I adore Krause Berry Farm for their corn pizzas, pies, ice cream, u-pick fruit and excellent hospitality.

Whole Foods, Chicha and Forage were all out with some samples of what is to come on the big day.

Chicha did delicious little salmon burgers.

Whole Foods corn cakes with smoked salmon.

Forage some tasty pickled veggies.

We also sampled some of the fruit wines along with fresh berries from the farm.  While we had rain, September looks sunny and there are still a few tickets left.  Always enjoy and sad to miss this year.
