Dine out at the following restaurants and $10 of your $35 3 course meal will go to support Eagle Ridge Hospital until Feb. 23!

We checked out a number of dishes at a couple of the spots on the opening night where guests were shuttled to three of the restaurants and we hit up Browns, Onyx and Saint Street Grill.

First up we had some excellent beef at Onyx where they served up their Angus  prime rib with  garlic mashed potatoes a crisp onion ring ad market vegetables.

Pictured here are Onyx owners Nicholas and Angela Popoff.  This is definitely a place that knows its steak.

Onward to Brown’s we had Potato Crusted Halibut with tartar sauce, almond rice, miso salad.

At Saint Street Grill the team is an absolute riot and they served up a sunflower-crusted salmon with black cherry green tea sauce and  trout caviar and an excellent steak tartar. I reviewed this restaurant for The Vancouver Sun years ago and if this is any indication it has only got better.
