Le Burger Week On Until September 7 – Josh Boettcher Reports

We saw that Josh Boettcher had actually gone and tried almost all the burgers from Burger Week, so weasked him to do a guest post based on his food-filled Instagram so you could see what’s out there to nosh on this year.

Every first week of September a bunch of restaurants create a burger to compete in @leburgerweek (with cheese)! There are 7 options in Vancouver this year (and 1 in Kelowna, but no thanks) and I dragged my sister to all seven over the last two days! Here they are:

Le Big Mac N’ Cheese Burger Cavu Kitchen Bar (@cavukitchenbar) – 8oz beef patty, applewood smoked bacon, Armstrong cheddar & raclette cheese, ketchup, mac n’ cheese “bun”

Lois Lake Salmon Burger at Moxies on Davie (@moxies_davie) – fresh salmon patty, cucumber yogurt, salsa verde, shredded lettuce & tomato with a warm pita

Duke Caboom from Bells and Whistles (@bellsandwhistlesyvr) cheese stuffed patty, bacon weave, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mushrooms, onion ring, maple cheddar mayo

The Burgerito Vera’s Burger Shack (@verasburgershackCornwall Ave. location) – juicy Vera patty with the usual suspects, shredded cheddar and fries all wrapped in a flour tortilla

“Do You Smell What The Rock Is Cooking?” BIN 187 (@bin4burgerlounge) – 63 Acres premium beef, caramelized onions, Hertel’s bacon, fontina cheese, crispy onions, chipotle sauce, butter lettuce, tomato, garlic aioli

Peppercorn Delight Burger Canadian Brewhouse (@thecanadianbrewhouse – Richmond location) spicy peppercorn burger smothered with tangy goat cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and garlic sauce served on a brioche bun 🌟

The Hot Mess Fable Diner (@fablediner) – grass-fed beef, double American cheese, fried onions, crimini mushrooms, pickled jalapeños, house pickles, mayonnaise, house mustard, toasted milk bun
