Cinema Public House Serves Grant’s Sherry Cask Reserve based ‘Bittersweet Symphony’
Trevor Kallies, DHM’s Bar and Beverage Director, was pleased to welcome Ludo Ducrocq, Grant’s Blended Scotch Whisky Global Brand Ambassador, to Cinema Public House for a private tasting event on Tuesday, July 6. Ducrocq, Grant’s first global ambassador, comes to Vancouver to share the exceptional Grant’s blend with a new generation of whisky drinkers.
In honour of Ducrocq’s visit, Kallies has crafted a special Grant’s Sherry Cask Reserve cocktail. ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ unites strawberry infused Grant’s Sherry Cask with Fernet Branca, honey syrup and a few dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters. Served chilled, neat and garnished with a strawberry and mint sprig, the refreshing cocktail showcases seasonal strawberries and yields a beautiful smoky fruit flavour. Bittersweet Symphony is available as a feature cocktail at Cinema Public House from now until July 31.
