Tapenade – Fall is here and so is our new menu

After a busy and beautiful summer, the cold nights of fall are here.  It is time to warm up and try some of our new interpretations of classic comfort foods.

Chef Alex Tung and his kitchen brigade have created some very tasty and unique dishes for this fall season. Our new menu debuts this Friday evening, October 22, with some delicious new items. Highlights of the new dinner menu are the Dungeness Crab Cakes, “Chanterelles and Toast”, Duo of Lamb, Cassoulet, Gnocchi “Tapenade”, Safffron Shellfish Rissotto, Brooks Peninsula Ling Cod and the return of Chef’s signature “Coq au Vin” .

For the past year, we have been partnered with Ocean Wise and have been promoting sustainable seafood practices since day one.  This Friday, Tapenade Bistro will take the next step, be 100% Ocean Wise compliant and and only serve sustainable seafood. This completely falls in line with our overall philosophy in regards to our committment to local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients. 

In preparation for the fall menu debut, Tapenade will be closed tonight for a staff training session and we will be open for regular hours tomorrow.  We look forward to serving you soon.
