After just a mere 4 weeks off, the Refinery’s Cocktail Kitchen Series is back. Season Two offers up new spirit and menu pairings, a completely new roster of bartenders from all over the lower Mainland, and better monthly and series prizes than ever before.
Brief synopsis on the program:
$35 gets each guests 3 cocktails using the featured spirit, crafted by the featured bartender in their attempt to pair your 3 course menu from the related region. Each week the bartender changes, each month the cuisine and spirit changes. The guests are the judges, and each guest is eligible to win the grand prize*.
The launch of Season Two starts March 02 2011 with Casey MacKay representing The Pourhouse (Gastown) and Corby Distilleries. March’s competition holds cocktails using Jameson’s Irish Whiskey and the cuisine of Ireland in high-regard!

*The finals this year, in September 2011, will be sponsored by Flor de Cana Rum, and as always there are two prizes on the line. Both the winning bartender and the winning guest (guest chosen by random raffle) will win a trip to Nicaragua with Flor de Cana in the fall.
