The month of June features German Rieslings in all BC Signature Liquor Stores. A free consumer tasting on June 7th and a Riesling-inspired prize giveaway at FUEL Restaurant make this a Riesling celebration British Columbians won’t soon forget.

As a part of this promotion, a very ‘colourful’ German Winemaker is coming to Vancouver as the official spokesperson of German Rieslings. His name is Rainer Lingenfelder, and he really knows how to make wine fun. He will be speaking to broadcasters in B.C. about the joys of German Rieslings.

We are also organizing a FREE consumer event at the Cambie & 39th Signature Liquor Store on the afternoon of Sunday June 7th. From 2 to 5pm, consumers are invited to stop by the stores’ show kitchen to sample an assortment of German Rieslings, paired with food prepared by Kitsilano’s FUEL Restaurant, and everyone who stops by will receive a complimentary ‘Food and Riesling Pairing Guide’ and an organic fruit gift to take home.

A bit more on the overall promotion: Throughout the month of June, German Rieslings will be in the spotlight as the wine to choose with food in participating BC Liquor Stores. An informative booklet pairing different styles of Rieslings with an extensive selection of foods will be distributed to wine shoppers as well as various promotional display materials.

The icing on the cake is a consumer contest – anyone can enter to WIN an exclusive eight-course Riesling-paired dinner for four at FUEL Restaurant.
