Presented by Murrick & Sommerset Insurance Services, the 17th annual Art For Life Fine Art Auction and reception will showcase a collection of 90 artworks valued close to $200,000, donated by Vancouver’s top artists and galleries. 100% of art sales will benefit Friends For Life.

This year we are offering art enthusiasts the opportunity of “ TAKE ME HOME NOW!” bidding online before the event. This is an option for our more philanthropic and enthusiastic bidders to purchase Art For Life art pieces NOW for 150% of the works value. Take Me Home Now secures works for buyers, but all artwork will be displayed at Art For Life on November 13th where it will be announced which pre-purchased pieces are no longer available for bidding at the live auction.
The Vancouver Friends For Life Society will preview a sample of its 2010 Art For Life Auction Collection at the Metropolitan Home’s new Kitsilano store from October 16 – October 23. Some featured pieces include, “Still Life With Parrot Tulips (1),” created and donated by Vancouver-born artist Joseph Plaskett, Pat Service, Chris Charlebois and Danny Singer.
