Unleash your inner foodie—culinary tips and tricks from Vancouver’s finest chefs
The Arts Club Theatre Company is pleased to announce its 2011 spring series of Celebrity Chef Cooking Classes from March 30 to May 25. Now in its eleventh year, this series of fundraising soirées combines cooking demonstrations by executive chefs from six of the most innovative restaurants in Vancouver with fine wine in beautiful private homes across Vancouver.
The three-hour cooking classes start with a mood-setting glass of bubbly, after which guests have the opportunity to participate in the unfolding of an exquisite three-course meal. Aimed at all levels, from novice to gourmand, each class will focus on a specialty such as Asian fusion, seafood, and sustainable, local ingredients. Guests will discover expert techniques that can be adapted for use in any home kitchen, enjoy stories from behind the pass, and find out what fuels these chefs’ passion in the kitchen.
This year’s line-up of talented chefs:
Wednesday, March 30 | Todd Bright, Wild Rice |
Tuesday, April 5 | Quang Dang, Diva at the Met |
Monday, April 11 | Dino Renaerts, Fraîche and Beachside Forno |
Wednesday, May 11 | Curtis Webb, Goldfish |
Wednesday, May 25 | Tina Fineza, formerly of The Flying Tiger |
Date to be announced | Jeremie Bastien, Boneta |
