The world’s premier cocktail festival makes a stop in Vancouver for a mini-festival from March 13 to 15. For eight years, Tales of the Cocktail has been bringing cocktail lovers from around the world to New Orleans. What began as a small gathering of cocktail drinkers has grown to become the world’s premier cocktail festival, serving as an annual meeting place for the most influential cocktail professionals.
What’s more, Tales of the Cocktail attendees can take part in the BC Bar Crawl (March 14, from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm), to see the city’s best bars and sample their one-of-a-kind cocktails. “The amazing cocktails you can find in Vancouver’s diverse bar scene are no secret to those that call the city home,” said Danielle Tatarin, president of the Canadian Professional Bartenders Association. “But for visitors who are unfamiliar with the city’s cocktail culture, the BC Bar Crawl is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of what mixology in Vancouver is all about.”
16 bars throughout the Vancouver area will offer signature cocktails created for this event. All cocktails will be priced at $11 (including taxes). Participating bars include the Lobby Lounge (at the Fairmont Pacific Rim), MARKET by Jean-Georges (at the Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver), The Keefer Bar, The Refinery, West, Boneta, and many more.
