The official motto of our British Columbia Wine Appreciation Society is “Discover, Discuss, Experience, Enjoy”, but we like to say that the unofficial one is “Enjoying wine in a non-snobby way.” Our annual holiday bash is the perfect example of that – lots of food, lots of fun people, lots of great wine, and no snobbery allowed!
Come along and join the fun at the Listel on Robson, as we pull out some of the wines we’ve been saving from our cellar, and let the chefs at the Listel cook up some yummy treats to go along with them.
The chefs at the Listel always go all out for us for this event. Among the food served will be:
platters of smoked salmon, antipasto, and cheeses & fruit
Hot and cold appetizers including:
Smoked Albacore tuna pinwheel with horseradish aioli
Fresh oysters on the half shell, chili lime gelée
Curry-spiced Fraser Valley chicken salad, pappadum cup, cilantro raita
Port-enriched Poplar Grove tiger blue cheese puffs
Bruschetta, oven-dried tomato, roast red pepper, bocconcini, crisp basil, extra virgin olive oil
Beef samosas, mango cilantro chutney

The rate code is HOHO. Rooms can be booked online or through reservations (guests just need to mention the code.)
