Big White Ski Resort is hosting their third ‘Big Whites at Big White’ wine event on March 23, 2013. ‘Big Whites at Big White’ is an annual event which combines the culinary talents of Big White’s local chefs with British Columbia’s finest white wines from the Okanagan region.
The event will showcase the best white wines from the Okanagan Valley and allows attendees to sample the variety, quality and uniqueness of the wines from the area. This year, the big whites represented will include wines from Summerhill Winery, Desert Hills Estate Winery, and Peller Estates Winery to name a few. In addition to the fantastic wines, Okanagan Springs Brewery will be serving a taste of its locally brewed craft beers.
Big White’s Kettle Valley Steakhouse will be preparing locally inspired appetizers, which will pair perfectly with the all the varieties of white wines on display from the area. The Globe Café & Tapas, The BullWheel and 6 Degrees Bistro at Big White will also be providing some specially selected dishes for guests. The event takes place from 6 through 9 pm in Big White’s Village Centre Mall. Tickets are priced at $60.00 per person and are available by contacting the Concierge desk at concierge@bigwhite.com.
