Burt’s Bees Beauty Powered by Nature
The newest crop of nourishing beauty products from Burt’s Bees includes the new Sensitive Solutions skincare line that’s even safe for those with eczema, several balms to treat and tint your lips and brow gels, waterproof mascara, luminizing highlighters and soothing face balms.
Since I’ve been spending so much time at home, my makeup rituals have been a little less formal than usual. Initially, I’d make sure I’d try if I had a few Teams or Zooms meetings, but once I settled into the new job, last year and got a little comfier with my coworkers, I started skipping the lipstick reapplication and then eventually showed up to virtual work with just a clean face. But it’s like not making your bed, or showering in the a.m. if you’re used to having at least a little bit of makeup on you start feeling naked without. So, while there’s no need for me to show up in a full evening glam look, I like a natural minimal look that gives me a bit of a glow-up. Then if I do happen to accidentally glance at myself on Zoom, I’m not horrified. It’s a self-love thing and if you make a little effort, you just feel better overall.
Therefore, I’m loving Burt’s Bees products now. I hadn’t used them in the past, and really only thought of them for hand cream or lip balm, but their highlighters, tinted lip balm and mascara, have found their way into my makeup bag. These lightweight blends are made with ingredients that are packed with vitamins and antioxidants that support healthy glowing skin and lips and give you a natural-looking glow.
The new reformulated Sensitive Solutions skincare line includes a Gentle Cream Cleanser that cleanses without stripping the skin of crucial moisture, and the Gentle Day Lotion has a blend of humectants, oils and squalane to additionally improve your skin’s moisture barrier and reduce redness and irritation.
