The 14½ hour marathon will be hosted by CKNW’s team of Jon McComb, Bill Good, Michael Campbell, Simi Sara, Mike Eckford, Sean Leslie, and Jill Bennett! Tune in to CKNW radio station as the entire day will be broadcast live!
The purpose of this special day is to raise funds for children with special needs in British Columbia. It is important to consider donating on this one special day as your donation will make life a little easier for thousands of children living with challenges every single day.
Pledge Day brings together a diverse group of celebrities, local choirs, organizations, and donors, as well as families and children who have been helped by the Fund the past year. So far, we have many VIP guests confirmed to attend, including BC Lions General Manager Wally Buono, Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson, Police Chief Jim Chu, and Vancouver Giants owner Ron Toigo.
Everyone who makes a minimum donation of $98 may choose to receive the following package to thank you for your commitment to help those in need (packages can be picked up starting on Wednesday, December 11th at reception at 2000-700 West Georgia Street from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and they will be available until Friday, January 10th):
