Cooking classes taught by Chef François Samson start in January 2012 at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre. Chef François has prepared meals for many well-known celebrities including Beyonce Knowles, Tom Hanks, Bono and Jay-Z. All classes include a lesson and food tasting!

Asian Feast – Jan 10 (7:00-9:30pm)

Cook a fantastic Asian meal to surprise family and friends. Chef Francois will be sharing and cooking a menu of: chicken skewers with a peanut butter dipping sauce, spicy beef and noodle salad, sambal green beans, fish in coconut leaf and mango pudding with cream.

South Indian Wonders – Jan 17 (7:00-9:30pm)

Taste the wonders of South Indian food. Flavourful and aromatic. Menu to come. Call us for info.

Mediterranean Supper – Jan 24 (7:00-9:30pm)

Learn some classic mediterranean and italian cuisine. Taste calamari and tatziki at its finest, beautifully spiced morroccan couscous salad, moussaka (layers of eggplant, zucchini and ground lamb, topped with béchamel) and traditional tiramisu.

Canapes for a Crowd  – Jan 31 (7:00-9:30pm)

We will show you how to serve your guests in style with a gourmet canape menu for a crowd. Learn about timing, preparation and presentation. On the menu: goat cheese crostini, pacific salmon and tarter sauce on blue potato, tomato/bocconcini skewers with balsamic reduction.
