Wednesday, January 12 2011 Vancouver’s famed CRU Restaurant hosts an evening with Pascal Madevon, winemaker of Osoyoos Larose. This elegant four-course dinner will give guests the rare opportunity to explore the marriage between BC terroir and traditional Bordeaux winemaking techniques that, when combined, create the coveted Le Grand Vin.
The evening will begin with an in-depth component tasting to explore each of the five Bordeaux varietal wines to be blended in the unreleased 2009 Le Grand Vin. This experience is sure to provide insights into the painstaking process through which this exceptional wine is crafted year after year.
Following the tasting, guests will enjoy a beautifully paired four-course dinner with three wines from the Osoyoos Larose catalogue, including the current release of Le Grand Vin, as well as a white wine that has been selected by Pascal Madevon himself.
