The style stakes are high at this year’s annual Deighton Cup –the most anticipated fashion event on Vancouver’s summer social calendar. Why not get an edge on the competition with the help of Mine & Yours, Dominique Hanke, and Celebrity Stylist Crystal Carson?
We are pleased to offer a limited number of guests an exclusive preview of a collection of custom-made hats by Vancouver’s premier milliner, Dominque Hanke of Hive Mind Millinery.
On the evening of Monday, July 7th, come join us in the upstairs hat salon at luxury resale boutique Mine & Yours located at 1060 Hornby Street.
Welcomed guests will arrive at 6pm to sip on sparkling wines and nibble on fancy bites from the Parlour Yaletown, while Ms. Hanke presents her couture collection of hats and discusses the fine art of millinery. There will be a pop-up photobooth for guests to be photographed wearing a hat or fascinator of their choice.
Celebrity Stylist Crystal Carson, who is the Deighton Cup Style Director and Producer of the Style Stakes Award, will share juicy style tips on how to look your best at Vancouver’s most fashionable society event of the summer, and how to potentially win the Style Stakes Best Dressed Award at the races (a cash prize and your name engraved on the Deighton Cup).
The evening will conclude with a rooftop champagne sabre and group photo of everyone wearing their favourite hat.
Following their debut on July 7th, Hive Mind Millinery hats will be available for sale to the general public at Mine & Yours up until July 26th, 2014.
