This estate grown Viognier from the hot hills of Desert Hills Osoyoos vineyard has ripe floral aromas of primrose, peach, with a bit of musk and star anise. On the palate there is a soft acidity, typical of the grape, and perfumey notes of honeysuckle, apricot, peach and some roasted pink grapefruit. Would work well with mildly-spiced Asian foods such as coconut curries, and as a pre-dinner sipper.
