The 2011 BC’s Best Market Dinner schedule was released today – always our busiest day of the year for bookings. And for good reason – some of our dinners sell out within days of being posted!
Join us – and BC’s Best Chefs – for a gourmet feast in an incredibly unique and iconic setting – Granville Island Public Market, after-hours. Enjoy a multicourse market-inspired dinner with sommelier selected wine pairings in an intimate venue that is unlike any other in the province. The Market Dinners will continue in our brand new space on Granville Island – Edible at the Market – when construction is complete in the second part of 2011.
What can you expect? A chance to spend an interactive evening with a professional and well-known chef, a multicourse meal prepared in front of your eyes, BC’s top wines paired with each course, black linens and candlelight in the working market after hours, gracious serving staff and hosts, plus a 10% discount in the Edible BC Retail Store and on future tour bookings purchased that night.
Your chef will prepare seasonally inspired sumptuous dishes while you watch, taste and enjoy. Since the goal of the evening is just to relax and enjoy the experience, we will email you a copy of the recipes and wine pairings from the night along with photos documenting the food and evening.
Each night is limited to only 20 guests. Electronic gift certificates are available.

Price: Market Dinners are $90 per person plus HST & gratuity.
Whisky Dinners are $130 per person, plus HST & gratuity

Location: At the Edible BC Retail Store, located on the east wall of the Public Market (dinners will move to our new Granville Island location when construction is complete)
MULTIPACKS – because the more the merrier!
Many Market Dinner guests enjoy their experience so much that they become repeat customers, booking numerous dinners throughout the season – and with a lineup like this, how can you choose just one? Multipack tickets are transferrable, and can be shared among friends (a terrific holiday gift idea!) but must be purchased as a pack by one individual. They are only valid for the 2011 season, and cannot be extended.
5 Pack – Select five dinners for only $82.50 each | $412.50 total plus HST
10 Pack – Select ten dinners for only $75 each | $750 total plus HST

Join the most exclusive group of EBC clients with our EBC Ultimate pack. You will receive a seat at 19 dinners of your choice plus you are guaranteed the opportunity to purchase a seat for our annual Vikram Vij Market Dinner (generally ticket chances by lottery only). As well, you will receive entry to the Edible at the Market Grand Opening party (this event is by invitation only, so no tickets will be sold). Ultimate pack owners also receive 10% off any event or retail purchases throughout the year. The EBC Ultimate Pack is just $1650 per person plus HST. There are only 14 of these packages available. Tickets are transferrable but must be used in 2011.
