If you ever went to the Elbow Room Cafe, you’d know that it wasn’t just the food that attracted it’s clientele. You had to pour your own coffee and water refills and wouldn’t even think of complaining or you’d be ostracized for life. Each year the Elbow Room Cafe returns and this year we finally made it to the show. The characters were bang on, I used to hang out with Bryan at the Hotel Georgia and it felt that it was he in the room, instead of the actor that played him. Hilarious and cheeky; the only thing missing was the eggs benny.
Everybody’s favourite characters from Elbow Room Café: The Musical are back for a holiday extravaganza at The Cultch. When café owners, Patrice and Bryan, and a group of Christmas misfits are snowed in at the iconic café on Christmas Eve, all bets are off. Will Patrice make it to the Christmas Eve Spectacular, will Bryan finally reach his boiling point, will Tabby find something to satisfy her hunger, and will they ever find a way out? Featuring songs from the original musical, by Dave Deveau and Anton Lipovetsky, as well as seasonal favourites, this brand new holiday treat will have audiences singing and dancing all December long.
