On August 31 and September 1, come and join select merchants for the second annual Gastown BBQ and Chili Festival. This two-day outdoor festival raises funds for Athletics 4 Kids while entertaining you with fantastic food, live music, DJs, a craft beer tasting room, and more.
Join our judging team with celebrity chef David Hawksworth, local sports stars Jason Garrison from the Vancouver Canucks and Angus Reid of the B.C. Lions, with media personality with radio DJ Joe Leary and movie personality Dawn Chubai, to help determine the winning dishes.
Prizes will be awarded for the best ribs, wings, brisket, and chili during the Blarney Stone’s fourth annual Labour Day Luau that will include an outdoor pig roast, DJ Steel, and top 40 cover band the Usual Suspects.
Carrall Street between Cordova Street and Water Street will be closed for the two days to make room for BBQs, picnic tables, a live music stage, patios, balloons, face painting, and more as the Lower Mainland comes to Gastown.
