While I’ve been known to sip the occasional beer when the weather is cloudy, the summer is the time when I really crave something refreshing, crisp and bubbly in a glass. Sure champagne will do, but after, or during a day at the lake I really crave a beer. With summer attempting to show its face, Granville Island Brewery has just released their Robson Street Hefeweizen. This unfiltered wheat ale quenches my thirst with a nice nutty, malty and wheat flavours. It’s got hints of hops and clove and is finishes smoothly. Not too big a beer, perfect for a mostly wine drinking gal.
