South Granville is inviting wine lovers to sip, shop and stroll through the neighbourhood when the GranVino Wine Walk returns on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Following a sold-out inaugural event, GranVino is back for a second year with an afternoon of British Columbia wine, local cider, boutique shopping and neighbourhood dining.
Inspired by the relaxed spirit of European aperitivo culture, the event transforms South Granville into a walkable tasting trail stretching from the Granville Bridge to West 16th Avenue. Ticket holders can enjoy up to 15 tastings at 16 participating locations while exploring the neighbourhood’s boutiques, restaurants and public spaces.

A South Granville tasting trail
Guests can move through the neighbourhood at their own pace, meeting producers, discovering new wines and ciders, browsing local shops and stopping for a meal along the way.
“The response to GranVino’s inaugural year was incredible, and we’re so excited to welcome guests back this summer,” said Ivy Haisell, executive director of the South Granville BIA.
“There’s something special about seeing people discover a new favourite wine while stepping into a boutique they’ve never visited before. GranVino celebrates the businesses, creativity and sense of community that make this neighbourhood so memorable, and we’re looking forward to building on that experience in year two.”
