CONGRATS TO GREENSCAPE VANCOUVER THE WINNER!
The weather is dreary, so I though I’d brighten up your day with a #giveaway in the hope that the groundhog will soon come out, and stay out. Groundhog day is February 2 this year and according to the folklore if it is cloudy when the groundhog emerges from its burrow, it will leave its home and winter will soon end. If it is sunny, however the groundhog will retreat and winter will continue for six more weeks. We’ll draw on Feb. 2.
What you’ll win:
Terra Breads – $20 gift card
Sonoran Estate Winery – bottle of Ehrenfelser Icewine
Gone Crackers – 3 boxes crackers including new Morrocan Spice
Libre Tea – Amazing tea glass
Chatelaine – Modern Classics Cookbook
Okanagan Ice Wine Cheese Plate – courtesy of Thompson Okanagan Tourism

We like to go to the Catcus Club Cafe on Douglas in Victoria.
My fave patio is Cactus Club in yale and robson.
I love sitting on the Sand Bar’s patio at Granville Island with the blanket they give you, a good drink and yummy appies!
my fave patio would be sitting outside the clubhouse at Gallagher’s Canyon Golf Course. not a typical patio, but beautiful none the less
One of my favourite BC patios is at Summer HIll Winery in Kelowna! After a winery tour, their patio is the best place to relax with some good wine, food and views 🙂
How does one choose just one fav patio in BC? Wine country patios include Salty’s in Penticton overlooking Okanagan Lake, Turtle Bay pub in Lake Country or the Burrowing Owl patio in Oliver.
The Island is always a great place in the summer for patio dining. You have Milestones on the Victoria inner-harbour, Youbou Bar and Grill on Cowichan Lake, or Weigh West Marina Pub. Choices choices and more choices…
haha seems everyone so far is going with Cactus Club… I’d have to agree, their Southpoint(Surrey) patio is awesome!
MY favourite BC summer patio is the Dockside Patio at the Granville Island Hotel.
My favourite BC Summer patio is at Barb’s Place Fish & Chips and Seafood Restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf in Victoria. It’s the closest to being on a boat.
The Teahouse in Stanley Park has one of the most sensational views you can only find in our beloved Vancouver 🙂
I’m looking foward dining alfresco
at Cardero’s Restaurant in Coal Harbour.
My favourite patio has got to be the Cactus Club in Yaletown. Nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
mmm.. my favorite summer patio would have to be at Havana’s! love people watching on commercial drive!
fave patio: Cactus Club Southpoint. great way to finish off some power shopping
Its hard to pick only one. Vancouver has so many fabulous patios but Joe Fortes is at the top of my list.
Favourite summer patio is Monk McQueens.
I discovered my fav summer patio last summer at Church and State Winery in Olvier. They have a lovely little patio area with sofa and tables- bring some cheese and crackers along with you. Lovely rolling grass hills and grape vines, on a clear sunny day it’s so quiet and peaceful there in the shade. Heck we even saw a tumble weed roll by!
I haven’t been to Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House in ages. I seem to remember the patio being perfect for a summer meal.
AWESOME!!!
What a great prize, that just made my day 🙂
Thank you so much everyone at The Good Life Vancouver 🙂
I can smell the ocean from the Dockside patio just by thinking about it…………..
