Randy Boyer and Andrea Donsky are the people behind The Healthy Shopper Picks, natural, organic and eco-conscious choices to help Canadian families eat and live healthier.
I received some salad dressings, sauces, household cleaners and feminine hygiene products to review from them as well as The Healthy Shopper Coupon Book.
Natracare– Organic and natural feminine hygiene products.
San- J – Gluten-free Asian inspired sauces.
Ecover– Plant and mineral based cleaning products that really work.
Simply Natural– Certified organic salad dressings.
The Simply Natural dressings were very flavourful and although I often do make mine at home I found myself reaching for these as a simple alternative. A favourite was a Organic Goddess Dressing with soybean oil, cider vinegar, say sauce, garlic powder and sesame seeds.
Then San-J sauces are gluten-free and welcomed by my room-mate who is gluten intolerant. She whipped up some Asian-themed dishes and found she wasn’t missing the gluten at all. The Orange Sauce is delicate and spicy, and the Teriyaki rather mild with a sweetness that makes it great for marinades.
I did some cleaning with the Ecover products and the toilet sparkled and the dishes were ever so clean after the Pomegranate and Lime scented dish liquid; smells fantastic!
Liked the feminine wipes, keeps one fresh, but found the sticky part on the pads didn’t really stick. Oh yeah I’m reviewing feminine hygiene. What next?
The prices are good and the coupon book worth grabbing. E-coupons also enable you to buy high quality natural and organic products in Canada at more affordable prices.
Disclosure of Material Connection: The Healthy Shopper sent me the above products to test. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
