Honda For the Holidays

Honda Clarity Test Drive

We had originally booked the Honda Clarity over the holidays, as we had planned to head up to Kelowna to visit my parents, but when we were told that staying home would best, we had to devise other ways to entertain ourselves.

Honda Clarity

The Honda Clarity is a plug in hybrid,  so we’ve saved a ton on gas as it offers seventy-five km on one charge, there’s a well-equipped cabin, with lots of features such as warm seats, an eight-inch touchscreen for navigation and music, and tons of safety features such as automated emergency braking, lane departure warning and Honda LaneWatch, a system that display an image of your blind spot when you flip on the indicator. This car offers a smooth, quiet ride and can get to about 100 km/hr in 8 seconds, for when you do hit the highway.

The Navigation system was helpful many times on the way home from our journeys, and the display is nice and big so you can glance at it while driving and see the map properly.

Deep Cove

We took a drive out to Deep Cove and headed for lunch at Arm’s Reach Bistro on Christmas Eve. It’s a stylish car with an aerodynamic body, it’s nice and quiet in the cabin unless you turn up the music.

Cassandra Anderton

Lunch was spectacular, the duck confit perfectly crisp with a delightful gastric, and Michael’s burger and fries were excellent. Such a cozy spot with excellent service, lots of local wine and great scenery for a walk after.
