Introducing Edible Canada Catering

Edible Canada and Savoury Chef Foods  have come together to provide exemplary full service catering services for personal and corporate events. The new joint venture, Edible Canada Catering, draws on the varied and vast culinary experience of Edible Canada founder and president, Chef Eric Pateman; Edible Canada’s Chef de Cuisine, Tom Lee; and Savoury Chef Foods founder and Executive Chef, Taryn Wa.

With decades of combined experience between the principals, and their shared commitment to providing the highest quality locally sourced and sustainable cuisine, clients can enjoy the service and reputation that Savoury Chef Foods is known for, while combining winning inspiration from Edible Canada at the market. On behalf of her team, Wa notes, “We have always been big fans of Edible Canada and all that they offer to our great city. We are inspired and excited to be working on this partnership.” Edible Canada Catering will offer seasonable offerings for everything from breakfast meetings to cocktail parties, and from 500 guest weddings to multicourse alfresco meals on local farms. As both Edible Canada and Savoury Chef Foods have strong teams and respected brands, coming together to orchestrate and produce locally-inspired catered events was a perfect fit. According to Pateman, it was a natural progression for his company to meet demand. “We are constantly being asked to cater events larger than our Granville Island Bistro can house, and together with the experienced team at Savoury Chef Foods, we know have the resources to do so.”
