Jack Evrensel, proprietor of CinCin Ristorante, is pleased to announce the appointment of Julio Gonzalez-Perini as Executive Chef, effective July 31st.
“We have been discussing opportunities for collaboration for over a year now,” Evrensel said, “so we’re thrilled to be able to bring Julio to CinCin. I’ve long considered Julio–as have many others–to be one of Vancouver’s finest chefs.”
Gonzalez-Perini, who is Argentine by birth, gained citywide renown for his suave Italian cuisine as chef/proprietor of Villa del Lupo, the charming, award-wining Italian restaurant in Yaletown. Since selling Villa del Lupo, Julio has been consulting on openings and elevating menus in Quebec, Whistler and Vancouver.
“We think that his talent, experience, and inexhaustible drive will provide a fresh focus for our kitchen,” said Evrensel. “Julio will implement new menu items over the summer, applying his strong relationships with local suppliers and unique style of contemporary Italian cuisine.”
Located in the heart of Robson’s fashionable shopping district, CinCin presents inspired dishes from the heritage wood-fired kitchen. Dinner served nightly from 5pm until 11pm and late menu until midnight. For reservations call 604 688 7338 or visit www.cincin.net.
Julio!,
i worked at the Beachhouse when you were there and you always inspired me, i didnt work in the kitchen but i did a few days of expo, i was mainly a hostess and busser and bar back. but I have always remembered you for your fine cooking and your inability to let a dish go out to the floor without being “perfecto”. I have always admired your cooking and your style as a chef and i hope to work with you one day! I am now a very enthusiastic cook learning as much as i can especially after doing a gourmet food and wine tour in France and doing work experience there for 6 weeks with an amazing and fun chef who taught me a lot! thank you and i look forward to dining in your restaurant!
best regards Portia
