Cold Brew Coffee Adds Depth To Cocktails

Melitta Cold Brew Coffee is easy to whip up and can make a great drink on it’s own, but we’ve partnered with Melitta to bring you some cocktails that make getting caffeinated even better. There’s lots of great deals on Melitta Coffee at Amazon.

Melitta Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate

60 grams of Melitta® fresh, ground coffee
500ml of cold water

In a pitcher or jar, add 2/3 cup (60grams) of fresh, ground Melitta coffee to 16oz (500ml) of cold water. Stir until all the grounds are moistened.
Cover and let rest in the fridge for 4 hours (or longer for a bolder taste). Remove from refrigerator, uncover and stir vigorously.
Fold a Melitta #4 filter at the crimps and place in a Melitta pour-over cone. Set cone atop an empty pitcher or jar. Pour the coffee/water mixture into the pour-over cone.
Wait for all of the liquid coffee to filter through the cone and drip into container below. This may take up to 5 minutes.

Cold Brew Libre

30 ml Melitta® Cold Brew
40 ml white rum
1 handful of ice cubes
1 organic lime
100 ml Cola
1-2 tablespoons brown sugar

Add Melitta® Cold Brew and rum into a highball glass and stir.
Wash and halve the organic lime. First, cut a slice for garnish, then cut the remaining parts into smaller pieces.
Add the lime pieces carefully on the glass.
Pour cold cola.
Add brown sugar to your taste and stir.

Cold Brew Aperitivo

20 ml Melitta® Cold Brew
5 ice cubes
20 ml Matured Rum like Havana Club 7
20 ml Port wine like Ruby
10 ml Vanilla syrup
1 Dried orange slice
Tonic water to fill

Drop ice cubes in a glass.
Add Melitta® Cold Brew, rum, port wine and vanilla syrup and stir.
Fill with Tonic Water.
Decorate with a dried orange slice.

Cold Brew Sunrise

30 ml Melitta® Cold Brew
1 handful of ice cubes
30 ml Tequila
15 ml Bitter liqueur like Aperol
15 ml Grapefruit juice
Some sugar, depending on your taste
Orange slice

Fill a glass halfway with ice cubes.
Add Melitta® Cold Brew, tequila, bitter liqueur, grapefruit juice and give it a good stir.
Add some sugar, depending on your taste.

Cold Brew Powered Strawberry Mojito

30 ml Melitta® Cold Brew
5 ice cubes
15 ml strawberry syrup
Fresh mint
Soda or Mineral water

Add Melitta® Cold Brew, fresh mint leaves and strawberry syrup into a glass and lightly mull.
Then add ice cubes and some soda.
Garnish with mint.
