I am so very fond of nachos. I love lots of cheese, guac, salsa, sour cream, the works. It’s not often that I do indulge, but when the craving does get out of hand I just do it. I’ve got teenage memories of The Keg Nachos with their layers of refried beans, and the fact they served us Tom Collins cocktails since we must have looked 19, and most recently had a pretty version at Darby’s Pub in Kits.
Last week my nacho adventures continued with the launch of Tostitos Canada’s Nacho Average Food Truck in Vancouver.
From July 3 to July 26, the truck will be touring the city serving up Tostitos tortilla chips with four new recipes from Chef Josh Wolfe.
For a limited time only, the Tostitos Nacho Average Food Truck will be serving:
Brie Bites Three Ways on Tostitos Scoops!®
“Canadian” Cheese Steak on Tostitos Cantina® Extra Thick tortilla chips
Salted Caramel & Chocolate Bark on Tostitos Cantina® Extra Thin tortilla chips
Summer Mango Salsa with Flaked Salmon on Tostitos Multigrain Rounds tortilla chips
The truck will only be on the road for one month, so find it while you can. Follow Nacho Average Food Truck on Twitter for location updates and fun and easy Tostitos recipe ideas at @TostitosCanada. #TostitosYVR
