Nespresso Launches Parisian Gourmandise Festive Collection – News Release

Nespresso Coffee Pods Celebrate The Season

Earlier this year Nespresso launched it’s new Metrotown Boutique and we made the switch over to Nespresso at home. The pods are now fully recyclable and our coffee has never tasted better. My only wish is that I’d remember to order the pods before we run out, as when we do it’s truly a crisis.

In any case I’ve got an order in right now and I’ve also heard that they have partnered with renowned interior designer, India Mahdavi, and have launched the Parisian Gourmandise inspired Limited Edition festive collection of pods.  Mahdavi is based in Paris and has created some of the world’s most iconic modern spaces including The Gallery at Sketch in London, Jean François Piège in Paris and APT in New York, her work is now synonymous with elegant design imbued with rich colour palettes.

This is coffee combined with couture, Mahdavi’s influence on the Nespresso Variations is evident in the range’s pastel hues and playful designs. With four unique flavoured coffees, two non-flavoured coffees and a range of limited editions accessories, Mahdavi has created a collection fit for the most discerning of coffee and design aficionados.

Featuring flavours such as Macaron and Praline on Original and Exotic Macaron and Madeleine on Vertuo, this year’s Limited Edition Variations bring the quintessentially French flavours to coffee lovers around the world, transporting them to a Parisian Patisserie through unique flavour creations. Each year festive variations centre on flavours of the season and for the first time, remaining true to French tradition, there is a Paris Black espresso coffee that caters to those preferring coffee in its pure taste.

There are two flavoured coffee Variations and one iconic black for Original and two flavoured coffee Variations and one iconic black espresso for Vertuo to try, each with an India Mahdavi designed aluminium capsule.

Each of the Original Variations have been based on the Nespresso Livanto coffee blend which consists of Pure Arabica from Southern and Central America. It is well balanced with a roasted caramelised note providing roundness and balance in the finished coffees:
