Nita Lake Lodge’s Aura restaurant will kicking off Whistler’s Cornucopia with a exclusive wine-paired dinner on November 10, 2011. Featuring the culinary talents of Executive Chef Tim Cuff and Restaurant Chef Owen Foster, guests are invited to join them for an indulgent road trip down the West Coast with select wines from award winning Sheridan Vineyards, Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards and Sineann Winery.  The evening will unfold with specially selected vintages and Nita Lake Lodge’s own proprietary cocktails paired with a six-course dinner featuring some of the season’s finest and freshest. Sheridan Vineyards out of Washington State will be offering up two of their Blended Reds including the 2008 Sheridan Vineyards “Mystique” and 2007 “L’Orage.” Anderson’s Conn Valley from Napa Valley will be pouring their 2008 “Right Bank” Blended Red, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Sineann Winery in Oregon will provide their much-acclaimed 2008 “Wyeast Vineyard” Blended Red. On hand to answer questions and add to the evening will be Van Potts from Conn Valley Winery, Chef “Big” John Caudill from Sheridan Vineyards, and Peter and Elizabeth Crews from New World Wine Imports. Created to be an intimate occasion where wine enthusiasts can ask questions and learn more about these celebrated winemaking regions, the evening promises be a lively evening full of fine food, fine wines, and great conversation.
