With the launch of SOCIETY Dining Lounge on October 31, THE GLOWBAL COLLECTION celebrated the opening of its sixth restaurant. Located in Yaletown, the happening spot features re-imagined comfort food and for the entire month of November is offering guests ‘2 for 1 lunch’ on all food items between 11:30 am and 4:30 pm daily AND ‘Dessert with Dinner’ – a complimentary Junk Food Platter (doughnut holes, Oreo milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, chocolate cupcakes, cotton candy, caramel popcorn, cookies and rice crispy squares) per every two dinner entrées ordered.

glowbal’s Hawaiian-themed menu embraces diners like a warm ‘Aloha’ with a fine selection of land and sea offerings. The Island spirit is captured in dishes ranging from Dungeness Crab, Mango and Avocado Salad to Macadamia Crusted Pork Chops. Cap off the evening with the Caramelized Pineapple Spring Roll.

COAST Restaurant’s French Coast menu brims with culinary gems, including Choucroute de Poisson (featuring pan-seared Arctic Char, Scallops, Lobster Boudin, grilled Tiger Prawns, and steamed Mussels), and the classic Steak Frites with Burgundy reduction. An assortment of Artisan French Cheeses and house-baked Flatbread makes for a perfect dessert.

Sanafir’s Silk Route exploration continues with cuisine inspired by the City of Rabat – the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Rich olive oil and sultry spices combine with fresh ingredients in the Roasted Squash and Eggplant Appetizer. The Rabat Trio entices with mint-infused Pea Soup, Moroccan Spiced Leg of Lamb, and Brussels Sprout Salad. Finish the Arabian night with Date, Fig and Marzipan Cookies for dessert.

Italian Kitchen salutes Umbria – a region of central Italy famous for its truffles – with dishes like Beef Tartare, Bianco Risotto, Pappardelle, and Veal Scallopini – all complemented with delicate shaved truffles. The theme continues with dessert – a rich Chocolate Truffle Bombe served with Vanilla Gelato.

Trattoria – recently presented with a 2009 Westside Business Award of Distinction for ‘Best New Restaurant’ from the Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce – features Italian comfort food on its November seasonal menu. From Fennel Crusted Porchetta to Braised Lamb Cannelloni, and a Spiced Cheesecake dessert — this award-winning West Fourth restaurant is not to be missed!
