We are in a waiting game with the grapes right now as I write this but we are optimistic that 2010 will be another great year at Orofino. It looks as if we will start harvest the first week of October with some pinot gris and then some pinot noir and chardonnay. The bordeaux varietals will come in throughout the last half of October. I have been spending some time in our vineyards and things look really promising! I could go an and on about the block of syrah waiting for us at Scout Vineyard just south of Cawston. Looks amazing! And then there is the riesling block here on the Cawston bench…Wow! 

2010 OKANAGAN WINE FESTIVAL and OROFINO

The Wine Bar will host us for an intimate evening of fine food prepared by Chef Natascha. Small plates will highlight each of the wines throughout the evening.
