This may be the most beautiful farm we have ever been to. The snow-capped summit of Mount Curry towers right over the table. Diners sometimes change seats to have equal time with the view. North Arm farmer Jordan Sturdy is mayor of the nearby town of Pemberton (close to Whistler). He raises a great variety of certified organic crops including popular u-pick strawberries and raspberries.

Our guest chef this time will be Andrea Carlson, formerly of Bishop’s. A veteran of two past OITF events, Andrea is opening her own restaurant in a couple of weeks – Burdock & Co. in the up-and-coming Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Vancouver.
